Performance Coaching in London

Strength is the base; performance is what you do with it. Power, work capacity, and resilience directed at a real target — an event, a sport, or the demands of a high-output professional life.

Performance

The goal

Performance training turns capacity into capability. Once a structural base is in place, strength, conditioning, power, and recovery are programmed together and pointed at a defined outcome — keeping up with a demanding sport, preparing for an event, or simply holding more in reserve through a high-output week. The Longevity Assessment sets the baseline: VO2 max measured by gas analysis, movement quality, and strength, so the programme targets the specific qualities that move your goal rather than adding generic volume. Those markers are re-tested over time, so performance is tracked objectively and progression stays earned, not pushed.

What gets in the way

  • Training without a defined performance target, so sessions add volume but not capability
  • Strength and conditioning trained in isolation instead of integrated toward a goal
  • No measured baseline (VO2 max, strength, movement) to direct the right qualities
  • Recovery, sleep, and stress load ignored until performance plateaus or dips
  • Chasing fatigue and novelty rather than the specific adaptations the goal needs

Common
questions

Who is performance coaching for?

Professionals who want their training pointed at a specific outcome — an event, a sport they take seriously, or simply more capacity for a demanding life. It suits anyone past the beginner stage who has a structural base and wants strength translated into real-world power, work capacity, and resilience.

Do I need a specific event or sport to train for performance?

No. Many clients train for the performance demands of everyday life rather than a competition — being stronger, fitter, and more resilient under pressure. Where there is an event, the programme is periodised toward it; where there is not, we define clear, measurable performance markers and progress them.

How is performance progress measured?

Against objective markers set at the Longevity Assessment — VO2 max, strength, and movement quality — re-tested over time rather than judged by feel. That makes progression visible and keeps it earned: qualities advance only when the data and your in-session performance confirm you are ready.
