The output is the same: a personalised Results Review and a recommended training pathway.

Common
questions

Can the assessment really be done remotely?

Yes. Movement quality, training history, recovery patterns, and lifestyle constraints all come through clearly via guided video testing and structured questioning. The remote version trades the lab-grade VO2 max and resting metabolism measurements for field-test equivalents — but the core training pathway recommendation is the same.

What equipment do I need to do the Virtual Longevity Assessment?

A phone or laptop camera to film yourself, a moderate-sized space (roughly 3m by 3m), a stopwatch or smartphone timer, and a wall or doorway for a couple of mobility tests. If a handheld grip dynamometer is needed for your assessment, one will be posted to you ahead of the session and returned afterwards.

How is it different from the in-person version?

The Functional Movement Screen, lifestyle review, and Results Review are identical. The differences are in the cardiovascular measurements — VO2 max and resting metabolic rate are replaced by validated field tests rather than lab-grade gas analysis. For most clients the field-test data is more than sufficient to set the right training phase.

Who should pick the in-person assessment instead?

Clients within reasonable travel distance of UNTIL Liverpool Street who want lab-measured VO2 max and resting metabolic rate, and clients with a complex injury history that benefits from in-person palpation. For everyone else — particularly travelling professionals — the virtual version is functionally equivalent and easier to schedule.

How long does the whole process take?

Allow about an hour of your time across the intake questionnaire, video filming, and field tests, plus a 60-minute Results Review call. The async portion can be completed at your own pace over a few days; the live Results Review is a single scheduled session.

Do I get the same written report as in-person clients?

Yes. The Results Review document is the same template — strengths, limitations, recommended training approach, and pathway placement (1-2-1 coaching, online coaching, or self-led programme). It is delivered electronically after the live call.
